The focus of the city is now on sewers

In this month there have been nine major sewer projects which have been started by the City and County of Honolulu. An effort costing five hundred and sixty million dollars is under process, which is based on improving the wastewater system of the city.

The nine new sewer projects are also a part of that effort, and the purpose of these nine projects is to prevent spills. Work is already being carried out on eight projects, and the ninth one started today. The ninth project involves making spot repairs in Kailua along the Mokapu Boulevard.
